 A basic static site is any site that simply displays information. A content management system can be used to allow you to update the site on your own, and a site with custom dynamic features is usually a more advanced site.

 Templates drastically reduce the cost and time spent on a site, but they aren's as "personal". It's up to you if you require a unique look tailored to your business or if you are happy with the cleaner, more generic look that a template provides.

 If you decide to use a content management system (see site type), you will have the ability to add content to the site yourself. Otherwise, I will need to add the content that you provide, or possibly copywrite it for you.
